The U.S. Access Board is the government agency that develops accessibility requirements; provides technical assistance and training on these guidelines and standards; and enforces accessibility standards for federally funded facilities. Its publications include accessible design standards as well as technical assistance materials.
U.S. Department of Justice ADA Publications
The U.S. Department of Justice promulgates the regulations which help implement 504 and the ADA. Their regulations incorporate UFAS and ADAAG, making those accessible design standards enforceable.
