The Committee on the Environment (COTE) is a forum for architects and related professionals dedicated to improving the built environment through consideration of the natural environment, and offers a place to exchange ideas about sustainable building design, construction and operation.

01 June 2003 - Stephen Moore of Miller Dyer Spears has re-joined the fray and is tending to the website issues.  Please email Stephen with any questions or comments regarding the site and any postings you feel are missing.

October 2002 - COTE is undertaking a survey of sustainable initiatives in Boston and across the country. Next step is to compile the information and to take a hard look at Boston. Join us in this fascinating study and discussion.

31 August 2002 - Invitation to 10 Shades of Green, Boston

08 April 2002 - A series of papers has been written by students at MIT regarding "Green Team Building". Read about it in our Resources page.

13 March 2002 - The Ten Shades of Green Exhibit will be held at the BAC. See the February and March meeting minutes for details.

The committee continues to support an array of public, political and project initiatives through its network of subcommittees.
